Taxis are identifiable by their yellow lines though this is not always the case. There are also “London style cabs” which can be found at some hotels, within the Nairobi City centre and at the airport.

There are no meters in the taxis here and standard fares either; be prepared to negotiate with the driver and agree on a fare before getting in.

There are a number of private taxi companies such as Kenatco, Jatco, Buzz a cab and Hilltop taxis which you can book by calling up.
