Cycling in the Kenyan countryside can be an exciting experience. The Country’s climate is favorable for outdoor activities.

Some game parks and ranches allow for visitors to cycle on game trails which is a better means of getting up close to wildlife and nature. You can hire a bike from some lodges though a mountain bike can be purchased from retail shops at major towns.

A cheap alternative is the bicycles used locally known as “black mamba”. These are low-cost bikes from imported from India and China which retail for about ksh 4,000.
